How to Coordinate Doors with Wall Panels

Treat the opening and surrounding wall as one composition. Finish, seam placement and the frame detail determine whether the door reads as a feature or blends into the surface.

01

Choose a visual relationship

You can coordinate the finish for continuity or use contrast to define the opening. Confirm the actual material and available finish; similar photographs do not guarantee a match.

02

Draw the joints and edges

Review panel seams, the door perimeter, hardware, baseboards and floor junctions together. A hidden door integrated into a paneled wall needs its clearances and finish build-up considered early.

03

Review samples and the installation scope

Share reference images or an elevation with your inquiry. We can discuss the available systems during the free measurement visit and confirm the selected materials in the quote.
