Start with the supply package
Confirm whether the price covers the door leaf only or includes the frame, trim, threshold, seals and hardware. List the selected models and finishes. A supply-only order and a supply-and-install package should be clearly distinguished.
Confirm preparation before fitting
Ask whether existing door and frame removal, disposal, opening repairs and any required reinforcement are included. Identify responsibility for these tasks before scheduling. An opening that needs repair can involve more work than a ready opening with the same dimensions.
Define installation and finishing
The quote should describe frame and door fitting, the agreed hardware, adjustment and the finishing scope. Confirm whether trim, painting, drywall repairs and adjacent wall-panel work are included or handled by another trade. These are items to agree in the proposal, not automatic inclusions in every TrueFrames installation.
Separate delivery, installation and approvals
TrueFrames offers two-week door production and delivery for all our models and order volumes. That does not set the duration of site installation or permit processing. Share access restrictions, building onboarding requirements and the desired installation date so the stages can be coordinated.
Make the handover clear
Ask for a walkthrough of door operation, the agreed finish work and product care information. Keep the proposal and applicable product documentation together. Record any outstanding items so the next step and responsibility are clear.
Get a quote for the actual opening
Book a free measurement and tell us the door type, quantity, city and scope. We carry the necessary licenses and insurance for our door work. Installation pricing reflects the selected system, site conditions and project requirements.
A FEW USEFUL ANSWERS
Before you begin.
Does free measurement mean free installation?
No. On-site measurement is free. Installation is quoted for the actual door package and work required.
Are removal and painting always included?
No universal inclusion is promised. Ask for both items to be explicitly included or excluded in the written proposal.
