Why the door price is a complete set

Many prices you see online are for the door leaf alone. Then the frame, the casing around it, the hinges and the handle are added on top, and the real cost per opening is much higher than the headline. Our $650–$700 includes the door, the frame, the trim and the hardware, so you can compare it with other quotes on equal terms. Ask any other supplier what their price includes before comparing.

04

What the $350 installation covers, and what it does not

The installation price is for a regular swing door going into an opening that is ready for it. It covers setting the frame, hanging the door, fitting the trim and hardware, and adjusting the door so it closes properly.

Some projects need more work. When they do, the quote lists it as a separate line, so you see exactly what you are paying for.

  • Removing old doors and frames and taking them away
  • Repairing, resizing or reframing an opening
  • Drywall repair and painting around the opening
  • Raising an opening for a taller door
  • Building requirements in condos, such as specific working hours or corridor protection
